Samsung Unpacked event for March 17 announced; expected to launch Samsung Galaxy A72 And Galaxy A52

On Wednesday Samsung announced a new ‘Unpacked’ event scheduled for March 17, which will most likely see the launch of Samsung Galaxy A72 And Galaxy A52. These two phones have also been rumored for quite some time and tipped to launch this month.

On 9 march the Korean company has just announced its next launch event. It’s called Galaxy Awesome Unpacked, and it’s scheduled for March 17 at 10 AM ET. The event will be streamed on Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel. So while we can’t be absolutely sure, this event is almost certainly going to be about new A-series devices, chief among them the Samsung Galaxy A72 And Galaxy A52.

Samsung Galaxy A72 And Galaxy A52 Specifications

According to leaks and rumors, Galaxy A72 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G processor. The smartphone could be offered in two variants of 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM+256GB. More expected specs include a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging and a 32-megapixel front camera. The phone comes with flagship features such as 3X optical zoom and 30X space zoom on its quad-camera setup. A 64-MP primary sensor, a 20-MP ultra-wide, an 8-MP telephoto sensor, and a 5-MP macro sensor. 

Samsung Galaxy A72 And Galaxy A52 Specifications

As for the Galaxy A52, its 5G variant is expected to feature a Super AMOLED display as well, with a 90Hz refresh rate. Galaxy A52 is also expected a 32-MP front-facing selfie shooter and run Android 11 and One UI 3.0 out of the box. It could launch in two RAM and storage variants of 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Meanwhile, the 4G variant of the phone could come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and sport the same camera configuration as the 5G variant of the device, according to reports.
