The New Redmi Phone with Dimensity 820 Chipset is Coming in June
Redmi 10x 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 820 Chipset
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi today unveiled its latest phones with the 10X series. We get a 10x 5G and 10x Pro as well as 10x 4G which is the rebranded Redmi Note 9 for the market. The new 10X 5G and 10X Pro comes with dual-mode and dual SIM 5G connectivity, AMOLED display, Dimensity 800 chipset, and highly competitive price tag. The Redmi 10X series is available in blue, pink, gold, and white. The official sale of 10x 5G is expected to start from June 1.
Both the 10X 5G and its Pro version use a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and waterdrop notches. The 10X 5G has a 16MP selfie shooter while the Pro has made it 20MP. Both panels also use 180Hz touch sampling rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The back of the phone uses a 48MP main shooter and an 8MP ultrawide sniper, but the Protei 8MP telephoto module combines 3X optical zoom and OIS and a 5MP macro camera.
Underneath the hood we have the MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset with 10/5GB 6/8GB RAM and the Proteus has 8GB RAM. Storage ranges from 64GB to 256GB. The front of the software is covered by MIUI 12 on top of Android 10, both phones come with 4X5 mAh battery, 10.5 5G with 22.5W fast charging, and 10X Pro with 33W. Both will have an IP53 rating and a headphone jack, and one prote will have an NFC.
